NUIST Gymnasiums and Stadiums

The gymnasiums and stadiums in NUIST are quite complete (see the following table). NUIST has high standard sports facilities and competition equipment with enough supporting facilities. In order to meet the high-level special sports training such as volleyball, table tennis and Taekwondo, NUIST has special training gymnasiums and facilities. NUIST has 1 standard Track and Field Stadium with natural turf & plastic runway, 1 standard Track and Field Stadium with artificial lawn plastic runway, 1 playground with ash runway, 20 basketball courts, 15 volleyball courts, an indoor swimming pool, 2 fitness centers and 2 gymnasiums. The main stadium covers an area of 14930㎡ which includes the main gymnasium, basketball and volleyball training halls, fitness center, physique room, table tennis room, badminton room, martial arts room, Taekwondo room, chess and card room, squash room, etc. .

The gymnasiums and stadiums in NUIST provide ideal conditions for physical education teaching, mass sports, competitive sports, physical fitness testing, and meet the needs of personnel training. In order to implement the National Fitness Program, they also serve the society in accordance with relevant national policies.
